Odoo sells its whole catalogue of business apps on one per-user subscription, and its Custom plan can run on Odoo’s cloud, on Odoo.sh or on the company’s own servers1.

Best for: Companies that want a full suite at low published per-user prices, with the option to host it themselves.

Not the right fit for: Companies that want unlimited users, or a fixed-price, partner-led rollout quoted in advance.

What it covers

Both paid plans include all apps, with unlimited support, hosting and maintenance. The Custom plan adds multi-company, the Odoo Studio customisation tool, agentic AI and an external API1. For manufacturers, Odoo describes finite capacity planning with a Gantt view, lot and serial tracking, a shop-floor tablet app, quality control points, PLM with version control and a maintenance app2.

How it compares with Acumatica

Odoo charges per user, from €19.90 a month on Standard and €35.90 on Custom when billed yearly, while Acumatica does not sell seats13. Odoo’s discount is valid for 12 months for the initial users ordered, so the renewal rate should be confirmed. Implementation is not priced: mid-sized companies are directed to partners and those above 250 employees to Odoo directly1.

Published evidence

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • The lowest published per-user price among the full suites in this guide.
  • The Custom plan can be hosted by Odoo, on Odoo.sh or on your own servers.
  • Manufacturing includes finite capacity planning, lot and serial tracking, a shop-floor tablet app and quality control points.
  • Both paid plans include unlimited support, hosting and maintenance.

Limits

  • Priced per user, and the discounted rate is valid for 12 months for the initial users ordered.
  • Odoo.sh hosting costs extra, and implementation is not priced: mid-sized companies are sent to partners, and those above 250 employees to Odoo directly.
  • Its manufacturing page describes no AI features.

Choose another option if: You have many occasional users, or you need an industry-specific rollout with a fixed price before you start.

Pricing

Published in euros: Standard €19.90 and Custom €35.90 per user a month billed yearly, or €24.90 and €44.90 monthly. Odoo.sh hosting is extra.

Questions to ask Odoo or an Odoo partner

  • What will our per-user price be after the first 12 months?
  • Which of our users qualify for a Light User licence?
  • Should we run on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or our own servers, and what does each add in cost?
  • What does a fixed-price implementation for our scope look like?
