NetSuite is Oracle’s cloud ERP suite. It reports more than 44,000 customers and positions itself as an all-in-one system for companies with several subsidiaries, business units or legal entities1.
Best for: Growing companies with several subsidiaries or legal entities that want one vendor-run cloud suite.
Not the right fit for: Buyers who want published prices, unlimited users or a say in where the system is hosted.
What it covers
NetSuite describes one integrated suite for accounting, orders, inventory, projects, production, supply chain and warehouse operations, with financial management, global business management, enterprise performance management and procurement among its feature areas. It says AI is embedded throughout, to simplify tasks, suggest actions and surface insights1. Its delivery method, SuiteSuccess, begins from industry-specific configurations and continues through the customer’s lifecycle.
How it compares with Acumatica
Both are cloud ERPs for growing companies. The licence is built differently: NetSuite’s annual fee combines the core platform, optional modules and the number of users, plus a one-time implementation fee1, while Acumatica prices applications and resources and does not charge per seat2. Acumatica also offers a private-cloud subscription with a hosting provider the customer chooses3; the NetSuite page we read describes only its own cloud.
